The Reverend Joel A. Hassell
Fr. Joel is our twelfth Rector. He and his family came to Messiah in October 2004 having served previously
in the Diocese of Western Louisiana for ten years and the Diocese of San Joaquin for five years.
The Reverend Mary B. Hassell Then Deacon Mary came to Messiah with her husband Joel in 2004. Ordained a Priest by Bishop Bertram Herlong
in February 2005 she became our first Associate Rector. Prior to coming to Messiah Mary served as a Prison Chaplain for four years.
